FAQ

I want the tone of this site to be loose and informal. To that end, instead of a typical FAQ, I’m going to post a few “suggestions” that I’d like you to consider when posting.
Register: You can’t post a comment or reply without registering. It’s a relatively simple process that will take only a few minutes of your time and will help to keep unwanted material off the blog pages.
Language: English is preferable. How you choose to implement the language is entirely up to you, though I would caution folks not to introduce young children to these discussions. There’s a very good chance that some of the language on these pages might include a healthy helping of George Carlin’s 7 words you can’t say on television, and then some. If that kind of thing offends you, sorry. You might be better served by seeking out similar blogs that are more in keeping with your standards and sensibilities.
Behavior: This is simple. Treat your fellow posters with the same respect you want for yourself and there shouldn’t be any problem. I reserve the right to delete posts and comments that don’t adhere to this premise. If I do decide to delete your comment or not post it at all, I will send you an email, explaining why I did so.
Stay on topic: This is a blog about songwriting, but I’m open to talking about anything related to music. If you want to discuss politics, sports, religion or any other topic that isn’t music related, go somewhere else.
New topics and songs: If you’d like to contribute a new article or song, contact me at zookinimusic@gmail.com. If you’re sending me a song, include a few paragraphs about the song and attach the lyrics and an mp3 file. Figure on it taking about a week between the time I get the song until it shows up on the blog. Posts should appear on these pages two to three days after they have been submitted.
The Web Site: This being a new site, there are obviously going to be some mistakes, bugs and usability issues to deal with. Don’t be shy about letting me know where I’m messing up. Use the form on the Contact page to send me whatever advice or criticism you may have.
Thanks for listening
